Dinner Is the Oldest Kind of Community
Island Ember Dinners was inspired by the tradition of gathering around a full table with family and friends. We believe a shared meal brings strangers closer than any event ever could. We invite food and drink makers to bring their best and let the conversation do the rest. No stage, no panel. Just food, stories and the people who showed up.

Makers, Hosts and Helpers
Every dinner is shaped by the people at it. Featured Makers bring a dish and the story behind it. Contributors add a course, a bite or something sweet. The Dinner Team keeps the evening warm and running smoothly, and Dinner Creatives capture it all. Together they turn a room in Brooklyn into a place that feels like home, wherever home is for you.
03 · How dinners come together
From First Idea to Last Bite
A dinner starts with the makers who’ll carry it. We taste, we plan and we set the room. Guests arrive, makers share their stories and courses arrive between conversations. By the end of the night you’ve tried something new, met someone new and maybe found your people.
04 · The Ember Trail
Support the Makers, Enter the Trail
The Ember Trail is our way of sending makers off with more than applause. After each dinner, guests are invited to leave a quick review for every Featured Maker, a small thank-you that means a lot. Review them all and you’re entered to win a bottle of Island Ember Sorrel. It’s a raffle, but the real prize is helping these makers grow.
